Anne  Frank Youth Network
The  Anne Frank Youth Network is a global community of young people taking action against all forms of discrimination via educative projects.

The HQ, in Amsterdam, is located in the house that was once Anne Frank’s hiding place during the nazi persecutions. Opened up by her father after the war, the place now hosts an NGO (Anne Frank House), and many comminities who, building on the legacy of open-mindedness and resilience of Anne Frank’s writings, champion the fight for equal rights.

The visual concept is an ode to paper, the most universal medium for activism when voices aren’t heard.

In layouts, elements collide into loose paper stacks, as a visual representation of the way revolutionary ideas spread in society via papers. The result is an unruly design system that challenges graphic design norms.

The entrance to the annex where Anne Frank and her peers went into hiding was hidden by a bookcase, filled with binders.

This element inspired the creation of the logo, simply filling up the paper slip on the spine to organically create it.
