Respect Sans
Responding to a new oppressive lexicon that has sprung up online, this project aimed to highlight the absurdity of hate speech by the simple trick of autocorrect. Easily, conservatives hide behind phrases such as “political correctness” or “social justice warrior” to give a negative connotation to any just cause.
Deep down, what is political correctness but the wish to treat everyone kindly? The goal was to watch hate comments become slightly absurd and loose all credibility when the veil of made-up right-wing lexicon gets lifted.
